Halifax Crafters Spring 2011

Thanks to all who came out to the show! I'd hoped for more sales, but I think I created some buzz and the beginnings of a good presence within the Nova Scotia Craft Community.
Pictures to come soon from the show and new work.

Thanks!! The Opening was a Great Success

Many thanks to everyone that came out to the opening last Saturday at the Textile Museum
I am more than grateful for all your support and encouragement.
Back in Pictou, NS now and got to get fired up for Spring Craft show season.
But if you liked what you saw at the show, working on applications for shows in Nova Scotia now, and I always welcome commissions.

Thanks again

Show Update: Hanging Day

Got everything hung up at the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum, in Almonte,Ont. today for a show of my weaving, opening Saturday.  Hopefully everything in straight, lint free and wont fall down, because I mounted everything on 1/2 inch MDF.  Fellow weavers might cringe at the staples I shot through the selvedges of the fabric stretched around the back of the boards, but I think. uneven messy exposed selvedges are worse, for a gallery show anyway.  Now to come up with Titles for all the pieces, something I find harder to do than all the work it takes to create them.
So stay tuned for pictures from the opening.
